This Privacy Policy explains how reppit (“reppit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile application, website, QR code redirect service, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Who This Applies To

This Policy applies to:

• visitors to our website,

• users who download and use the reppit mobile app,

• users who create an account,

• customers who place merchandise orders (e.g., QR stickers),

• and people who visit a reppit link or landing page after scanning a reppit QR code.

2. What We Collect

We collect different categories of information depending on how you use the Service:

A) Information You Provide

Account information: email address, username/handle, password (stored in hashed/secure form), and any optional profile details you choose to provide.

Destination link information: the URL you choose to route your reppit link to.

Merchandise order information: shipping name, shipping address, and order details (items purchased).

Payment information: reppit does not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe), which handle payment information according to their own privacy policies.

Support communications: if you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message.

B) Information Collected Automatically

QR scan and redirect data (landing page / redirect usage): When someone scans a reppit QR code or clicks a reppit link, we may log limited technical data such as:

• timestamp,

• browser user-agent,

• device type / OS category,

• referral information (when provided by the browser),

• approximate location inferred from IP address (city/state level).

We use this information for security, analytics dashboards, performance monitoring, and fraud prevention.

Device and usage data (mobile app): basic device identifiers and usage events to improve reliability, diagnose issues, and improve performance.

Approximate location: we may infer approximate location from IP address for security, analytics, and fraud prevention. We do not collect precise GPS location unless explicitly stated and enabled.

C) Photo Library Access (Mobile App)

reppit may request access to your photo library in order to allow you to select an image you choose to use within the app.

For example, you may choose to:

• select an image for a profile picture, and/or

• select an image to customize a QR design (if enabled).

Important:

• reppit does not access your camera for QR scanning or photo capture.

• reppit does not scan QR codes inside the app. QR codes are typically scanned using the device’s camera app or another third-party scanner app.

• images are only accessed when you take an action inside the app that requires choosing an image.

If the app offers an option to save generated QR images to your device, we may request permission to add images to your photo library only when you attempt to save.

D) AI QR Customization Inputs (If Enabled)

If you use AI features to generate QR designs, we may process:

• your text prompts, and

• images you upload for inspiration (if supported).

We use this to generate designs and improve feature functionality. Do not submit sensitive personal information in prompts or uploads.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and operate the Service (account creation, link routing, QR generation),

• enable users to manage their destination links,

• provide landing pages and redirects,

• provide scan analytics and dashboards,

• fulfill merchandise orders (printing/shipping stickers and related products),

• prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited uses (including malicious links),

• provide customer support,

• communicate with you about your account, orders, or product updates (including opt-in emails),

• monitor and improve Service reliability and performance.

4. How reppit QR Codes and Redirecting Work

reppit provides a dynamic link/QR service. A reppit QR code typically points to a reppit-managed URL (or reppit landing page) that routes to a destination chosen by the account owner.

Key things scanners should know:

• reppit QR codes are usually scanned using the phone’s camera app or another QR scanner, not inside the reppit app.

• the reppit account owner may change the destination link at any time.

• when applicable, scanners may land on a reppit-managed landing page before routing onward.

• once routed, reppit does not control external destination sites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following situations:

A) Vendors and Service Providers

We may share information with third parties that help operate the Service, such as:

• hosting and infrastructure providers,

• analytics and logging services,

• fraud prevention and security services,

• payment processors (e.g., Stripe),

• printing and fulfillment partners (for merchandise),

• email delivery services,

• customer support tools.

These vendors may process information only as needed to perform services for us.

B) Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information as needed to:

• comply with applicable law or lawful requests,

• enforce our Terms of Service,

• protect the rights, safety, and security of reppit, our users, or the public,

• respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

C) Business Transfers

If reppit is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to:

• provide the Service,

• maintain accurate business records (including order history and accounting),

• comply with legal obligations,

• resolve disputes, and

• enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account (see Section 7), subject to legal retention requirements (for example: transaction records).

7. Your Choices and Rights (Including Account Deletion)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• access, correct, or delete your personal information,

• object to or restrict certain processing,

• opt out of marketing emails (where applicable).

Account Deletion

Users can permanently delete their account through the reppit mobile app.

When account deletion is initiated:

• the account is permanently deleted or scheduled for deletion,

• you will lose access to your account and Service features,

• your profile and reppit links may stop functioning and/or be disabled,

• we will delete or anonymize personal account data where feasible.

We may retain limited data where necessary for legal compliance, tax/accounting requirements, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution (for example: transaction records).

Marketing Email Opt-Out

If you receive marketing or product-update emails, you may unsubscribe using the link provided in the email or by contacting us.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Users

If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
